At OA Resources, we specialize in Organizational Alignment with a driven purpose to create a more unified organization.  We believe unifying the strategy-culture-relationship will result in a more cohesive and higher performing organization.  Our goal is to help clients achieve success through the alignment of key factors that affect their bottom line.

Our Story

We began operating as OA Resources in 2003 with a focus on aligning cultures in the health care industry.  This effort originated from the challenges facing healthcare systems as they attempted to integrate the culture of physician practices with hospital and organizational strategies.  At that time, the driving purpose for OA Resources was to establish a common culture all stakeholders could embrace.  Along the way, we learned a couple of lessons (a) leadership was the principal element directly influencing the relationship between strategy and culture, and (b) values were the underlying influence for all three elements.

With that experience, we formulated our Alignment Paradigm focusing on the interrelationship of values within the business elements of organizational strategy, leadership, and culture.  This concept asserts that a well-aligned organization has an interlaced and balanced approach within the strategy-leadership-culture trilogy.  It is reflected in the structure, values, people, processes, and customers of an organization and can be measured through growth, innovation, and engagement.  This Alignment Paradigm is the foundation of our organization alignment services.

President & CEO

A seasoned executive with progressive experience in highly successful healthcare organizations.  He is intrigued with organizational alignment and the challenges of culture change across multidisciplinary groups and organizations.  As his most passionate subject, Jim holds a Master’s degree in Leadership and embodies a leadership style that promotes teamwork, empowerment, and collaboration.  He possesses a level of expertise that spans a range of executive positions from small businesses to multi-state health systems.  He is considered an influential leader who builds trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.  As a visionary leader, Jim is known for innovative thinking, an entrepreneurial attitude, and a balanced-risk mentality.  As a strategic thinker, he is motivated to drive growth, increase market share, safeguard quality, optimize performance, expand services, and enhance customer experience.

His journey began in Information Technology with an innovative mindset that advanced the business processes and capabilities of his employers and clients.  Through his observative nature, Jim experienced the cultural nuances of a public utility, insurance company, medical device manufacturer, various medical practices, regional health systems, and a multistate organization.  Along the way, Jim was inspired by numerous individuals who ignited his passion for leadership by demonstrating exemplary styles, exhibiting competencies of great leaders, and illuminating the benefits of organizational harmony!
